This painting was inspired by my very first trip to the United States - a time that marked the beginning of a life-changing decision, filled with excitement and a future still wrapped in clouds ahead of me.
‘Frisco captures those memories as they exist today: some clear and vivid, others faded, fragmented, or quietly tucked away. The bridge structure reflects that same sense of connection - between the past and present, between what we remember and what time has softened.
Using my signature pixel-like technique, I built ‘Frisco square by square, pixel by pixel, allowing color and texture to echo the way memories fade and sometimes resurface out of the blue.
Medium: Acrylic Paint with Modeling Paste
Base: Stretched Canvas
Size: 36” x 30” x 1.5”
